Condition: Fair: Some grubby marks: Some corners/edges wear

A bird's eye view of Brussels, taken from the tower of the Hotel de Ville. The Church St. Gudule and Congress Column stand out well. A magnificent view of the North East part of the town is obtained.

  2. If you compare this picture with the current air view of Brussels you can surely see a big difference but somehow in some corners of the city you will see a strong standing buildings of the past.

  London - Clock Tower and Houses of Parliament Posted in 1917 Blurb on the back of the postcard reads: Erected in 1840 on the site of the old Palace of Westminster covering 8 acres, contains 100 staircases, 11 open courts and 1,100 apartments.  Can be seen Saturday 10 to 4.  Victoria Tower is 340 feet high.  Clock Tower 318 feet.  The four clock dials are each 23 feet in diameter.
